As an ACT/SAT specialist, I’ve had extensive experience tutoring these marathon tests over the last 8 years. They can be challenging to students of all levels because they are different from the style of testing in school. The test prep process involves many facets that I break into two main components. The first is test-focused: content, strategy, and pacing. The second is student-focused: healthy motivation, focus, and stress management. We put all this to the test with full practice tests along the way!

Though different, these tests really challenge students beyond their grade level. As an ISEE/SSAT specialist, I start by building a foundation of question types that consistently show up. However, the key to these advanced questions is strategy and confidence to attack unfamiliar questions. I get us there by mastering standardized test strategies, pacing, and mindset.

Transformative Math Coaching

I’ve seen students feeling completely overwhelmed by years bad math grades and the deep-seated belief that they are simply “bad at math.” I can tell you right now I do not believe it. I have seen how one on one interaction about math concepts with me can completely transform “I have no idea” into a comprehensive, 360 degree understanding about a concept that helps students be better problem solvers and creative thinkers in math class. From 1st - 12th grade, it is never too early or late to get math help.
